Our client, a leading facility management organization, is seeking an Operating Engineer to join their team. As an Operating Engineer, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the overall functionality of facility systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Operating Engineer
**Location:** Gilbert, AZ
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform maintenance and monitor repairs to Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility.
+ Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, and inventory control.
+ Conduct cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and changing parts to maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment.
+ Record readings and make adjustments to ensure proper operation of equipment.
+ Comply with safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe workplace.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent.
+ 5-10 years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
+ Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
+ EPA 608 Type II Certification.
+ Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
