The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for the Ortho Service Line in the Operating Room at Martin South Hospital manages the administrative and clinical aspects of Ortho Surgery specialty, which includes organizing, developing, directing, and assuring the delivery of quality, patient-centered, cost-effective patient care. The ANM provides education to staff based on their clinical and theoretical expertise and will partner with the Nursing Leadership team, OR caregivers, and surgeons to assess and implement process improvements as needed. The role also manages staffing to ensure proper clinical resources and the continuity of patient care. **The hours of this full-time ANM position are 10-hour day shifts, 0630 - 1700, with on-call requirements** **Required qualifications for the ideal candidate include:** + **A MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS OF OPERATING ROOM RN EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED).** + Graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing. **BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN NURSING (BSN) REQUIRED.** + Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN). + Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire. + **Has excellent communication and leadership skills.** + **Demonstrates a strong work ethic.** + **Thrives in a team environment.** This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills and build a career at a hospital that prioritizes career growth, learning opportunities and employee wellness.
