Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. 3. Controls the flow of the Operating Room- calling for patients in a timely manner, monitoring room status, assigning staff, scheduling breaks / lunches for staff, and communicating changes with Team members throughout the day.
4. Contributes to the daily efficient performance of the department
5. Serves as the communication liaison to family and members of the operating team
6. Demonstrates continued professional growth through setting goals and participating in educational offerings.
7. Arranges Operating Room schedule in accordance with the needs of the surgeon and patients. Assigns arrival times for patients
Qualifications/Training:
• Previous experience in Operating Room Required.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:
• An active Registered Nursing License verified by the LLR
• BLS (Required for ALL nurses),
