Job Description:

Manager - Operating Room

Full-Time Dayshift

Manages the daily operations of the department.

Management of resources, process improvement activities, staffing and scheduling, and assuring delivery of safe, effective, timely patient care in areas of responsibility.

Monitors financial performance of department and assures expenses and productivity align with workload and meets fiscal targets.

Leads departmental activities and monitors care provided to comply with quality and customer service goals.

Lead/participate in multidisciplinary and interdepartmental initiatives to improve care, services, and efficiencies.

May need to assist with patient care on nursing unit.

Requirements:

Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution required within three years of hire.

Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.

Five years of job-related experience required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred upon hire and required within 90 days of hire.
