Deliver care to 4-6 patients per shiftAdminister medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentationCollaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imagingPractices as a full partner on the multidisciplinary team.Assist surgeon and surgical team in the ORIndependently plans care for patients before, during, and after proceduresDevelop and implement nursing care plan for cardiovascular patientsYou’ll be a trusted educator and resource for your patients’ recovery thanks to the care plans you develop and implement
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma from an accredited nursing programMinimum two year of RN experienceCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to the State of TexasBasic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtained within 90 days of hire datePlease be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
