Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Research Fellow to the Research group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Lincoln is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers.

Ensure the operating room is clean and organized Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgery Monitor and maintain sterile fields during procedures Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon during the operation Manage surgical specimens for laboratory analysis Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment and machinery Assist in counting sponges, needles, and instruments to ensure they are not left inside the patient Provide support in case of emergencies or complications during surgery Transport patients to and from the operating room Update and maintain patient records and documentation Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimum patient care Participate in post-operative care and clean-up Stay current with new surgical techniques and advancements
