Collaborates with the RNs, surgeons and all healthcare team members. Maintains AORN standards of professional nursing practice. **Job Description** : **EDUCATION** HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience **CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE** BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider CST-Certified Surgical Technologist **PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:** Surgical Technician training Minimum five years experience in Surgical Services preferred Experience in basic computer skills preferred **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE** Knowledge of Aseptic technique Surgical scrub procedures, use of sterile technique, instruments, and setup procedures for the delivery/OR room Knowledge of the anesthesia cart and equipment OSHA Risk Category I(High Risk) Assist with tilling, supporting, maneuvering, and adjusting the position of patients weighing over 200 pounds **Job Shift:** Varied **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift Hours:** 8 **Days of the Week:** Variable **Weekend Requirements:** Every other Weekend **Benefits:** Yes **Unions:** Yes **Position Status:** Non-Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 40 **Employee Status:** Regular Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.
