Operating Utility Engineer
One of our large pharmaceutical clients is hiring for a Utility Engineer for the Utilities team. The role is a night shift positions (6pm to 0630am), but would be on 1st shift for training for around 3 months. The shift rotation includes weekends and holidays, and for employees, with a 15% shift differential and overtime pay for weekends and holidays.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This individual ensures compliant, accurate, and timely completion of corrective, emergency and preventive maintenance in support of the Malvern biologics pharmaceutical manufacturing operation process and non process related equipment. Execute predictive, corrective and preventive maintenance on all equipment and systems in area of expertise and one or more additional maintenance disciplines

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Operate and maintain the utility plant, including, but not limited to: Boilers, Chillers, Reverse Osmosis, WFI Stills, Air Compressors, Air Handling Units, Refrigeration, Waste Neutralization, Clean-In-Place systems, handle certain chemicals as needed, and are the first responders to off-shift manufacturing and electrical systems problems.
-Interpret and respond to Alarms as needed

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
-Participate in capital and maintenance projects, including Root Cause Problem Solving, FMEAs, and Non- Conformance investigations
-Participate in preventive maintenance plan development and optimization
-Work with reliability engineers, master data analyst, parts storeroom staff, equipment owners, process specialists, project managers, and outside vendors in creating maintenance master data in CMMS.
-Carries out all duties in compliance with all company, state and federal regulations and guidelines including FDA, EPA, OSHA, DEA and TSA.
-Ensures regulatory and job training remains current by promptly completing required training
-Complies with all company and/or site policies and procedures
- Complete all GMP documentation to support Maintenance activities and supply legible and complete documentation of work orders as required
- Order basic supplies as needed
-Demonstrates willingness to learn new skills as required, to become as cross-craft flexible as possible
