The Commercial and International Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Operational Excellence Lead to work remotely. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the SES Services group by developing Operational Excellence (OE) tools and framework to drive transformation across the business and reduce operational risks. The OE lead works with the Data Analytics team and other cross-functional departments to identify, analyze, develop, and measure long term solutions to mitigating business risks and close process gaps.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor internal operations and assimilate information from numerous sources to provide CI recommendations or develop strategies to improve organizational performanceCoordinate with cross functional teams and managers to standardize processes, identify organizational challenges, propose improvement opportunities, and lead, facilitate, and development CI solutions to achieve key performance metricsDocument, monitor, develop, and provide administrative support for CI solutions that align key goals and objectives focused on meeting customer expectationsUse CRM tools to manage, maintain, and report programmatic data as directed by CI initiativesMonitor key activities and KPIs in all departments to report compliance and adequacy of the system of control, and provide administrative support to CI projects aimed at achieving established objectives and complianceCollaborate with the Program and Data Analytics team to monitor, develop, and report performance KPIs utilizing data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Sigma etc.Lead development of process analysis, root cause analysis, problem identification, requirements gathering, benchmarking, user story development, and solution implementationProvide administrative support for onsite audit program and manage procedural documentationMonitor KPIs and key performance trends and lead reoccurring report out presentationsDevelop and oversee quarterly service review program aimed at documenting performance trends and identifying shifts in process, procedures, or service delivery needsBasic Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma certification and demonstrated experienceBA degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or Masters degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent years of experienceStrong communication and collaboration skills in working with managers, stakeholders, and project team members to manage, inform and influence outcomesProven ability to adapt to changing demands and objectives in a dynamic environmentExperience leveraging critical thinking skills and attention to detail while leading multiple projects in a rapidly developing organizationStrong leadership and accountability skills with a focus on delivering resultsExperienced with preparing and presenting briefings to leadership, internal customers, key stakeholdersAbility to facilitate development of people or teams to build and maintain a culture of “ownership” and drive efficiency and process improvementFamiliar with data governance principles, enterprise data modeling, and data management practicesPreferred Qualifications
2 years operations experience in Field Service organizationKnowledge of service operations, service delivery, and/or supply chain processesExperience with CRM platform configuration and/or adoption (Salesforce, Hubspot, Etc.)Experience leveraging cloud-based no/low-code applications to automate and optimize processes and improve data management (Quickbase, Zoho Creator, Airtable, etc.)Training and development experienceOperations KPI development and performance audit experienceDemonstrated competence utilizing data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Etc.)Original Posting Date:2024-12-19While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.
Pay Range:Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
