This position reports to

Finance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect and analyze financial metrics. Each day, you will identify trends and problems and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of the specific factory/manufacturing site.Performs analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast, and accordingly proposes improvement actions.Performs benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar businesses within ABB.Works with other finance professionals to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance of the organization and identify trends.Prepares financial modeling for various hypotheses and the overall impact to the business unit.Supports the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the relevant organization.Validates the accuracy of financial data and business information and reports through reconciliations and review of exceptions.Provides information to management by gathering and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.Optimizes their performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, and coordinating information requirements.Ensures processes and controls within area of responsibility, are designed and implemented in line with internal policies and regulations.Maintains proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/ internal/external audits and reviews.

Qualifications for the role

\tA Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required\t5+ years of Financial Analysis experience\tRisk Management and Internal Controls \tData Analytics\tGood English on both Writing and Speaking.
