YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role are to: 

Be involved in projects related to Continuous Improvement (CI). Contribute to CI projects using tools such as Lean,Six Sigma and Kaizen to optimize processes and reduce waste;Help with projects related to Training and Development to implement operational excellence and CI initiatives;Help to implement tools such as 5S, Pareto Analysis, time study, value stream mapping, standardized work, and optimization of workflows, kaizen events, and statistical process control;Basic use of project management skills;Learn the basics of pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Packaging processing and equipment including dispensing, mixing, wet granulation, tablet compression, coating, and tablet printing;Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including production, quality, and supply chain, to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure alignment on operational goals;Help with Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis on operational issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence and enhance overall performance.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

Required Qualifications:

 

Currently either pursuing a Bachelors or Masters of Science in Engineering (preferred: Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering), Management Information Systems, or related field;Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English;Experience with data analysis and root cause analysis;Knowledge of concepts related to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment;Ability to work accurately and efficiently on multiple projects under tight timelines;Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office/ Excel Pivot Tables.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior engineering internship or coop experience in pharmaceutical company in engineering or data science related job.  YOUR APPLICATION
