Why we need this roleAs operational excellence lead, you’ll advocate Colt’s Lean program (Colt 3D) and other forward-thinking change initiatives. Your mission? Enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure continuous improvement across Operations & Engineering.
What you will do Work with the Business Operations team to identify opportunities to reduce cost to serve Lead and motivate the Operations & Engineering Colt 3D business coaches to deliver key initiatives, including resource planning, development of internal skills and competencies and identification of future opportunities Be accountable for the successful delivery of Colt 3D interventions, methodology and sustainment activities, driving benefit delivery through collaborative working with key stakeholders and Business Colt 3D leads & coaches Deliver a governance framework to ensure that existing continuous improvement programmes are delivering beneficial change for the business, and develop business cases to support wider strategic change Effectively measure and communicate progress of initiatives to key stakeholders/sponsors Drive accountability for the effective implementation of change initiatives, ensuring changes are signed off by appropriate business owner Ensure strategic operational improvement initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and meet agreed SLAs and KPIs Provide effective stakeholder management of the Operations & Engineering Senior Leadership team, ensuring overall awareness of initiatives, working collaboratively with the leadership team to ensure planned initiatives are in line with the overall business strategy.Measures of success

Experience in Lean/Operational excellence tools
Knowledge of process improvement, and automation.
Strong project management and change leadership skills.
Ability to influence, communicate, and drive strategic initiatives.
A problem-solver with a results-driven mindset.
Commercial acumen with strong data analysis skills
Interpersonal skills – be able to build a positive team culture in a global team
Customer focused, results-focused, efficient, and pragmatic
Additional/non-essential requirements
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering or a relevant field.
You may also have other formal IT qualification or be ITIL Foundation Certified
