Operational Excellence Program Manager, Global Fixed Assets Accounting
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent practical experience. + 7 years of experience working in finance, accounting, business operations consulting or program management across a global organization. + Experience in process design and improvement using quality management principles (Lean Six Sigma or equivalent). Preferred qualifications: + MBA degree. + Chartered Accountant (CA)/Certified Public Accountant (CPA). + Experience in consulting, process improvement or Lean/Six Sigma, particularly in a finance operations setting. + Experience managing large cross-functional projects including identifying, assessing and controlling risks, and with SAP and Big 4 accounting firms. + Ability to problem-solve, communicate clearly, influence leadership teams in Google’s product areas and Finance, combined with impeccable business judgment. + Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL and dashboard reporting. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$180,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Partner with key stakeholders and engineering to improve complex financial processes. + Define process requirements for Fixed Asset and Lease Accounting teams in collaboration with cross-functional partners. Analyze datasets to test hypotheses and provide insights to influence decision making. + Partner with various business and Finance teams to identify and gather business requirements, design solutions, and implement end-to-end process improvements. Identify opportunities for automation and collaborate with the engineering team to build efficient automated controls. + Drive an increase in productivity and efficiency across Fixed Asset and Lease Accounting areas while balancing risk, quality, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and statutory requirements. + Ensure Tax, SOX, and local entity compliance.
