What is the role about?
Support our Global Logistics Operations Center (G-LOC) in Ireland and be responsible for leading a team of Logistics Experts to support and lead all projects in the context of Continuous Improvement to achieve the best possible Customer on Time Delivery Performance.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
Ensure that G-LOC as a whole is fully behind the program and provides the necessary support. Supervise a team of people in the organization and delivery of their daily tasks. Participate in the recruitment of new team members and support the development of a team of people with a passion for excellence and pride in delivering an exceptional service. Design and implement a training and induction process to support new and experienced team members in upskilling and continuous knowledge development. Embrace and promote the use of the Learning platform, encouraging team members to take every opportunity to support their own development. Design what operational excellence means to G-LOC and what specific goals need to be achieved (productivity, cost reduction, quality improvement, customer satisfaction, etc).What do we expect from you?
You:
Have a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field with 8-12 years’ experience working in IT/Logistics Project Management. Possess Project Management skills in waterfall or agile methodologies and Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques. Have experience in a logistical working environment within Logistics and Transportation; demonstrable evidence of successful project delivery. Have experience in supervising a team with strong problem-solving skills. Are very organized and autonomous, with the ability to manage several projects concurrently as well as to take charge of and complete projects. Are a great communicator and facilitator comfortable working across organizational boundaries and managing internal and external stakeholders. Are able to travel globally when required, up to 20-40%.What can you expect from us?
