We are looking for an Operational Flow Manager who will drive efficiency in our supply chain operations through data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. As part of the Global Supply Chain Team, you will optimize the flow of merchandise through J.Crew's multi-channel supply chain, focusing on staffing, planning, and volume forecasting.
Essential Job FunctionsOperations ManagementLead the Wave team to ensure optimal order flow through the facilityDevelop and implement labor planning tools to optimize staffing levelsCreate and execute throughput strategies with internal and external partners to meet True North MetricsData Analysis & ReportingBuild and maintain a comprehensive supply chain analytics framework using Microsoft Power BIAnalyze operational metrics and KPIs to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunitiesDesign and implement reporting systems for tracking key performance metricsDeliver regular performance updates to Senior Management and DC Operations Team using Microsoft PowerPointProcess ImprovementRecommend and implement flow strategies based on empirical data to increase throughputDevelop training programs to support continuous improvement initiativesEnhance service levels through strategic collaboration with Operations PartnersDrive timely issue resolution through effective communication and follow-upSkills & AbilitiesLeadership & CommunicationSelf-starter with strong judgment and the ability to manage proactivelyExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsProven ability to build partnerships and collaborate across teamsStrong project management and prioritization capabilitiesTechnical ProficiencyAdvanced Microsoft Office suite expertise, specifically:Microsoft Excel for data analysisMicrosoft Access for database managementMicrosoft Power BI for analyticsMicrosoft PowerPoint for executive presentationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience3+ years of experience in logistics or distributionDemonstrated analytical and critical thinking skillsTrack record of data-driven decision makingPreferred QualificationsExperience in retail supply chain, especially fashion/soft linesBackground in process improvement or operational excellenceWork LocationJ.Crew Asheville, North Carolina (On-site)
