The Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is looking for a Night Manager who fully embodies our values, shares a passion for excellence, and infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. As Night Manager, you will be accountable for shaping the client experience by providing exceptional service in support of our world-renowned hotel. This position reports to the Front Office Manager and Assistant Director of Rooms.

Responsibilities

The Operational Night Manager oversees all the departments of the hotel during the overnight and acts as the manager on duty in the hotel when senior managers are not available.  The Operational Night Manager works closely with the staff from all departments to assure that standards are being met. Is the direct supervisor of the Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B and Kitchen during the overnight shifts.  The Operational Night Manager will oversee multiple operational departments and responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing their needs and adding personal recommendations to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

Manages the activities of all the departments of the hotel during the overnight shift.  Directs staff and ensures communications and follow-up with day shift on any problems, guest requests or special requirements.Frequently tours the hotel and monitors the activities of all departments.Monitors staff activities to assure that standards are being met, staff is being supported and guest needs are being metResolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.Take action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well being of hotel guests and employees when senior management is not available.Respond swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for individuals who have experience managing the hotel overnight. Good communication skills is required. Applicants are required to have physical mobility as lifting, walking, bending and moving objects up to 20 lbs.  Speaking, writing and reading English is required. Positive attitude and willing to learn is must. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

Salary Range- $88,000- $92,000
