We are seeking an Operational Process & Data Analyst 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets. 

Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

What you’ll do:

      Drive/significantly contribute to and collaborate with team members on a variety of analytical, product development, implementation, training, and customer critical event efforts. Customers will include Federal, commercial, and internal customers.       Support establishing client relationships, assessing client issues and proposing project solutions; review, coordinate, and summarize client correspondence to assist the project leadership’s understanding of client priorities, scope changes, deadlines, and deliverables; use this experience to develop project leadership skills and assume those responsibilities.       Structure and conduct research – open source and enclave specific; intent to understand emerging directives, mission requirements, and compliance requirements. Specific research emphasis will be on emerging Federal/Intelligence Community/Department of Defense emerging requirements around technology and cybersecurity.       Perform requirements analysis and problem-framing to establish the foundation for follow-on analysis and efforts.       Develop operational concepts and requirements that can be translated into technical requirements.       Analyze, document, and implement changes to processes and procedures.       Analyze, document, and support implementation of changes to organizational constructs and training methods.       Plan and conduct data collection, data analysis, and decision support activities; including interaction with customers and industry stakeholders.       Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations defining problems, evaluation, and possible/recommended concepts or solutions—recommendations could be across operations, processes, personnel/staffing, training, materiel solutions, policy, etc.       Perform descriptive, inferential, and/or predictive analysis using statistical methods and tools, such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, etc.       Support implementation of proposed recommendations.       Support planning and facilitation of training/education, as required, around implemented concepts.       Professionally interact with leadership and staff personnel in both industry and government settings.       Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders       Conduct research and benchmarking to provide context and best practices for data analysis and interpretation       Collaborate with team members across disciplines and customer/business partners to understand their data needs and provide solutions that support their goals and initiatives.       Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.       Work independently on designated or special projects; direct other team members as required during analysis and implementation efforts.       Plan and prepare Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&Ms) for implementation of proposed recommendations.       Think creatively and communicate thoughts both in terms of structured narrative and visual graphics.

Key Requirements:

       U.S. Citizenship and eligible to be granted a Secret Security Clearance.         Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience; Master’s degree preferred.        Proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.        Demonstrated management consulting experience.        Demonstrated mastery of research techniques.        Demonstrated experience building training or education materials and facilitating learning sessions.        Experience working with Department of Defense customers and demonstrated experience with Department of Defense or similar federal doctrine and guidance.        Demonstrated process analysis/re-engineering experience; process development certification desired (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).        Demonstrated experience creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, work instructions, policies, etc.        Demonstrated descriptive, inferential, and predictive data analysis using Excel, SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.        Strong writing skills.        Demonstrated experience and application of systems architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, DODAF, FEAF, etc.).

Travel:

Travel outside the Washington, DC Metro Area is limited to 5% annual.
