Introduction:
We are looking for an Operational Procurement Specialist to join our team of procurement experts spanning the US and Mexico, where expertise meets collaboration. We prioritize putting the customer first, working together, and maintaining open and honest communication. This position can be located in York, PA, Mesa, AZ or Brookfield, WI and we are happy to offer hybrid working options. This is a temporary position anticipated to conclude by the end of the year.
What you'll do:
Maintain/Improve effective and accurate system to monitor purchase orders. Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly Analytical Reports based on target setting. Manage communication with external suppliers. Actively and efficiently collaborate and communicate with various partners within the supply chain to ensure timely solutions related but not limited to: Quality, Engineering, Strategic Sourcing and Tactical, Warehouse. Manage and maintain creation on purchase orders until completion. Manage and maintain collaboration and tasks between Vendors and Logistics. Manage Invoice processing. Perform other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
1-3 years experience in a purchasing environment. Experience in a Low volume-high mix environment desirable. Subcontract mechanical manufacturing experience desirable. High level of analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast pace environment as this product relates to Services for the After Market Customer in a Multinational Organization. Deadline driven. Strong knowledge in excel. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent Customer Services Skills. Excellent Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Experience preferable in SAP/MM environment. Basic technical knowledge and understanding of blue prints desirable. Experience with products in Metso’s offering is a plus.
