For our Office in Drunen we are looking for an
Operational Purchaser
to support the day to day procurement related questions four our Propulsion Services business and operations.
This includes all the procurement related tasks for the full propulsion portfolio four our maritime customers worldwide.
What will you be doing
As an Operational Purchaser you are the central point of contact between many other Wärtsilä departments and external suppliers. Within Wärtsilä, you will be working with our Global Distribution Centre in Kampen, Propulsion Engineering teams and other Procurement specialists. Your main focus is to support the operational processes from requisitions to on-site delivery worldwide. You work according to Wärtsilä procurement guidelines and under the supervision of Wärtsilä Purchasing Department.
What are your main tasks and responsibilities?
The below will enable you to shine in this role:
You hold a vocational or bachelor’s degree. Some years of working experience within an international environment within a supply chain or procurement related position is an advantage. You are experienced in Microsoft Excel, experience with SAP and other ERP systems is seen as an advantage. You have a pro-active work mentality. You are able to think ahead and how to keep the process running. Affection with maritime industry is an advantage. Excellent social and communication skills in English and Dutch, both oral and written.
