Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, as the Operational Quality Assurance Specialist you have responsibility for the analysis of quality data to identify trends and lead quality improvement initiatives across functional teams. This role collaborates with various functional groups, such as production, quality control, and regulatory teams, enhancing proactive quality standards and driving knowledge development within the team.  The Operational Quality Assurance Specialist will report directly to the St. Louis Cell Marque Operational Quality Assurance Supervisor. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Provide quality assurance support related to investigations for process and/or product deficienciesProvide quality assurance support related to customer complaintsProvide investigative, root cause and corrective action supportProvide quality support for changes that occur with products and processesParticipate in quality improvement projects utilizing Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma approachesMaintain thorough and accurate records of QA activitiesContinuously develop and enhance QA skills through trainingUse data and trend analysis to monitor and improve QA performanceParticipate in customer and regulatory audits, as a Subject Matter Expert of applicable Quality Management System(s)

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.) or a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, etc. )1+ years experience in a quality role

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience in quality management systemsHighly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to establish collaborative relationships with various departments to deliver on quality commitmentsAbility to work autonomously, effectively manage time and deliver results on timeStrong problem-solving skillsStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and quality systems softwareUnderstanding or experience with ISO & FDA quality regulations
