Operational Risk Analyst
Responsibilities Operational Risk Analyst Location: Guadalajara, Mexico OR Bangalore (India). Hybrid role (once a week in office). Job Summary: As part of the Operational Risk Management team, reporting to the Head of Operational Risk & Resilience, this role is crucial in identifying and preventing health, safety, and physical security risks impacting the organization. We are looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about making a difference. Responsibilities & Deliverables: Support the Operational Risk strategy, collaborating with various stakeholders. Ensure department policies and procedures, and Fusion Risk Management tool capabilities are implemented according to approved goals and policies. Research, prepare, and provide insights on various threat risk events such as geographic, political, and people risk. Respond to inquiries and examination requests, supporting elements of the regulatory and audit examination cycle. Contribute to the development of detailed procedural documents and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements including FFIEC, OCC, and other applicable regulations. Develop and run consistent and accurate reports related to the supplier list and analyze data to prepare supplier reporting for senior management. Develop and populate metrics, reports, and spreadsheets to showcase issues, risks, and program status. Qualifications: Three to five years of work experience related to Health, Safety, and Physical Security Compliance, Risk Management, particularly in financial services. Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, or a related field. One or more relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Critical Incident Management (CCIM), Business Continuity Management (ABCP), or industry equivalent. Familiarity with risks related to physical security, health and safety, and business continuity. Understanding of risk management practices, including the lifecycle of risk identification, treatment, mitigation, acceptance, and remediation. Knowledge and experience with laws, regulations, guidelines, and frameworks within the financial services industry that mandate information security and information risk management requirements such as FFIEC, NIST, ISO27001, GLBA, OCC Heightened Standards, etc. Ability to perform research to provide material and evidence for internal and external inquiries. Assist with crafting high-quality presentations and reports, conveying complex topics to various levels of management. Clear written and oral communication skills with experience writing policy and procedural documentation. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Cognos reporting, and PowerBi. Experience with Fusion Risk Management or similar GRC tools.
