Operational Senior Accountant

About This Role RGP is seeking an experienced Operational Senior Accountant to join our team. This consultant role involves working closely with external auditors, engaging with key stakeholders, and supporting the deal team on new transactions as they develop. While another consultant on the team currently manages the primary operational tasks for month-end close, this role will focus on ensuring alignment with audit requirements, facilitating clear communication with stakeholders, and contributing to deal support as new opportunities arise.
What You Will Work On Collaborate with external auditors by gathering necessary reports and providing information to support audit processesWorking closely with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and coordination of activitiesSupport the deal team by assisting with transactional needs and ensuring alignment with goalsAct as a liaison between departments and external parties, effectively managing communicationsLeverage mid-level accounting and business acumen to address operational accounting activities without needing technical accounting expertiseUtilize strong communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity and alignment across initiatives.Coordinate close commentary and assist with light reconciliation tasks as needed. What You Will Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field• 10 plus years’ experience in accounting• Experience working with SAP• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
What You Can Expect Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite. Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors. Pay Range: $ 75hr.
