Primary Purpose:

Performs various administrative and clerical duties in support of field operations and field engineering group at Elba Island

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Associates/bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred)

Experience/Specific Knowledge:

3 to 5 years hands-on experience working in an administrative capacity in a fast-paced office / professional environment preferredSome college or professional office administration training preferredAdvanced excel skills preferredExperience in Lawson preferredKnowledge of PC operations and other related database applicationsMust be proficient in and have at least 3 years active experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)Records retention and records maintenance experience preferred

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable by the company insurance carrierMust meet the criteria to maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) as required by USCG/DHS regulations

Competencies/Skills/Abilities:

Must have proven interpersonal skills and strong communications skills to be able to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of internal and external customersOrganizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential.
