Update the Health, Safety, and Environmental manual (OHS updates, customer requirements, industry best practices, investigative measures, company policies).Manage third-party compliance (Avetta, ISN, Complyworks, Alcumus, Ariba, Bonfire, Capreit, Contractor Compliance, etc.).Update safety statistics quarterly (TRIF rating).Schedule and coordinate third-party inspections (e.g., crane inspections).Arrange health and safety training with external providers.Monitor and calibrate in-house personal gas monitors.Oversee auditory testing and safety glasses programs.Conduct COR audits and manage audit action plans.Maintain confined space safety equipment (inspections, repairs, maintenance).Manage emergency response plans (host drills, complete reports, update site-specific details).Address and follow up on workplace inspection action items.Handle COI renewals and distribution, updating as needed.Provide WCB clearance letters upon request.Develop, update, and review SWP, SJP, and hazard assessments with relevant personnel.Monitor and document Heat Plan ERP compliance.Participate in workplace inspections.Manage overall health and safety program.Co-chair Joint Health and Safety Committee.Answer overflow calls and provide reception coverage during lunch breaks.Purchase miscellaneous office and coffee supplies.Conduct CAPA investigations.Collect and document statistical data.Assist with annual internal and external audits (IMSM).Facilitate and document equipment calibrations.Maintain up-to-date registers and ensure correct form versions are used.Assist Technical Sales with administrative tasks, including managing the file database and creating paper files (printing required documents).What you will bring:
Certified Health & Safety designation (e.g., CRSP, CHSC) and COR Auditor certification are assets.2+ years of experience in health, safety, compliance, or administrative support roles.Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.Experience with audits, inspections, incident investigations, and emergency response planning.Familiarity with third-party compliance platforms (e.g., Avetta, ISN, Complyworks).Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Each resume submitted gets individually reviewed by our team and retained for 24 months if other new and exciting opportunities arise that match your skills and qualifications.
