Responsibilities:

Work closely with Chief Nursing Officers and other senior leaders to resolve operational issues, which allows Chief Nurse Executive to focus on strategy. Analyze clinical statistics and information to formulate conclusions and recommendations related to organizational operations. Provide detailed analysis of projects related to both internal and external environments.  Data collection includes areas of clinical trending and staffing. Partner with executive leaders in analyzing and solving patient care and productivity issues. Collaborate with all levels within the organization on issues that directly and/or indirectly affect patient care. Partner with Human Resources to facilitate nursing recruitment process to assist nursing units in maintaining adequate staffing levels Serve as an expert operations advisor to the entire patient care leadership team, especially in areas of increased throughput, care redesign and productivity and scheduling challenges. Lead committees related to divisional goals and/or areas of special projects tied to organizational goals. Oversee the collection and measurement of data for the purpose of analyzing, making recommendations for process improvement based upon these results. Oversee the design and presentation of automated data collection and presentation systems so that timely information pertaining to the improvement process work plans and outcomes can be reported. Analyze, design, develop, modify, implement, evaluate and maintain information technologies for the Patient Care Division. Assist with the development of plans for achieving identified clinical and management outcomes. Maintain accountability for ongoing self-development and enrichment activities.Collaborate with strategic partners including Finance, Human Resources, Clinical Analytics, Workforce Management and others to identify productivity opportunities and improve clinical efficiencies.
