Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Operations Analyst, Rusk Data + Outcomes Management.
In this role, the successful candidate Under the supervision of the Program Manager of Rehab Outcomes this position will oversee and assist with the transformation of data into information to support quality and safety initiatives throughout NYULH This position will also be matrixed with Hospital Analytics.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and produce on a regular basis standard to moderately advanced reports pertaining to NYULH clinical quality and safety performance. Act as quality performance measurement and data management and analysis consultant for appropriate custom performance measurement and research projects throughout NYULH. Work with NYULH Information Technology staff and others to facilitate automation of standard recurrent data acquisition management analysis and reporting including development of a clinical data warehouse Design and conduct regular and thorough assessments of data quality. Collaborate with various stakeholders within the department and organization to design and construct clinical quality performance measures and electronic databases for custom recurrent and one time data collection efforts including custom research data requests Effectively justify methods selected and implements analysis plans Design and conduct analyses pertaining to quality and safety of clinical care at NYULH using a variety of clinical and non clinical data sources Develop internal quality performance measures to support departmental and organizational quality improvement goalsMinimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor s Degree in pertinent field clinical informatics; information management; biostatistics; epidemiology; public health; health care administration; or similar field Minimum two years of related experience Excellent written and oral communication skills for a variety of audiences Complies with regulatory requirements appropriate for position Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients Ability to coordinate and manage multiple priorities in a changing environment with minimal supervision Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools Must be able to generate moderately complex reports and multimedia presentations Advanced analytic skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data through complex analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
Master s Degree in business administration public health care administration or related field Four years of Operations related experience

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 – $85,407.34 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
