Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a System Security Operations Analyst (Cybersecurity) to support key programs at NSWC Crane and throughout the United States. **Job Duties and Responsibilities:** + Support assessment team by performing penetration testing and utilizing true understanding of cybersecurity. + Apply analytical methods from mathematics, science, and engineering to drive operations strategy, planning, forecasting, resource allocation, performance measurement, data analysis, scheduling, and execution of program protection and cybersecurity response. + Ensure that cyber security assessment teams are properly equipped with analysis tools necessary to define, implement and assess cyber-resilient security design solution + Support cyber risk analyses and program protection security assessment teams + Capture information on customer systems and operations, focusing on commercial hardware that is in use and utilize captured information to assess the risk posture for the customer + Communicate effectively with a range of audiences, technical and non-technical, and function effectively on an engineering team to create a collaborative environment. **Travel Required:** + Possible 25-50% to NSWC Crane and/or Washington DC, Navy Yard + Possible travel to various CONUS and OCONUS locations as necessary **Required Skills and Qualifications:** + Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline, Physics or Mathematics + 10 years professional experience in operations research + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (Interim Secret clearance required to start) **Preferred Qualifications:** + Active Secret Clearance + Master’s in operations research, mathematics or equivalent + Any of the following certifications would be a plus to have: + CompTIA Security+ Certified Red Team Professional (CRTP) + Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) + Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification + Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) + EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) + GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA) + Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) + Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) + Certified Cyber Forensics Professional (CCFP) + Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
