The team operates around 50 sites in 32 states with a robust development pipeline.

About the role

The position will support the operations performance team by driving strategic business planning, performing analysis on underperforming assets, and assisting in the development of production forecasts and budgets.  The Operations Analyst will travel as vital across the fleet of operating facilities to gain understanding of constraints and improvement opportunities within plant and wellfield operations.  Additionally, the position will be passionate about the financial and production performance resulting from operational and capital investments in wellfield assets.

Key accountabilities

Build appropriate tools and measurement systems to drive performance improvement in the Wellfield Operations line of business.Develop and lead wellfield production forecasts and update as vital throughout the year to support production forecastingSupport operations performance team in the preparation of presentation material for the Archaea LT and Operations Leadership Team (“OLT”).Collaborate with the OLT and external partners to build and publish business and asset performance tools in DOMOSupervise and review monthly financial statements and data to ensure budget adherenceAbility to read and decipher existing legal contracts impacting operations such as gas right agreements (GRAs).Think strategically while providing tactical support to implement ideas.Proactively calling out pressing business issues that need immediate attention.Provide independent, informed, candid insight including on the ground feedback.Engage with operations leadership team personnel and external parties, such as landfill owners and operators, to understand the needs of the operation

Essential education

•           Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

Essential experience

0-3 years Landfill/Wellfield Operations, Landfill Gas to Energy, High BTU, Oil Refinery, Chemical Process and/or other relevant technical experience.Proficient in creation of VBA, SQL, and PythonExcellent written and oral communication skills.Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAcute attention to detail.Proficient on Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Must possess a valid driver’s license.Must pass background check and DOT drug test.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

How much do we pay (Base)? $70,000 - $90,000

*Note that the pay range listed for this position is a genuinely expected and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.

This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 – 240 hours of vacation per year for full times employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees).
