Operations Analyst
Amentum is currently recruiting for a Operations Analyst to join our team at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA to support our Department of the Army, G-3/5/7 Operations Readiness and Mobilization Support contract. Duties include: - Provide programmatic and technical assistance to Protection related programs for the Army. - Coordinate with Government to maintain databases, spreadsheets, tables, briefings and controlled access web portals for the APPA, including coordination for assessments or assessment-related activities; track inspection findings through final resolution. - Support the production and conduct of required Reply by Endorsement remedial plans and ensure the completion of any assessment observation reconciliations as required. - Support the prioritization and tracking of identified discrepancies and/or vulnerabilities, and work with ACOM, ASCC, and DRU protection staffs in order to develop a plan of action to mitigate or eliminate discrepancies and/or vulnerabilities, track corrective actions from APPAs and associated assessments and provide written support products in support of this effort until final adjudication. - Provide support to quarterly APPBOD meetings (e.g. logistics, agendas, minutes, etc.), and other meetings supporting APPBOD objectives. Support production of all documentation needed to implement the decisions and requirements of the APPBOD, applying DA written correspondence standards IAW with AR 25-50 (Preparing and Managing Correspondence) and DA MEMO 25-52 (Staff Action Process and Correspondence Policies) - Prepare guidance/tasking/data calls, including writing, consolidating, and editing input from various ARSTAF sections. - Provide support and input to the APP management framework. - Provide professional and qualitative written recommendations for aligning HQDA Army Protection Division programs integration as required at the Federal, DoD, State, and Local levels. - Interface with key contacts and sources to coordinate relevant information regarding assets. - Provide timely and accurate document control between HQDA Army Protection Division’s internal (i.e. EM, MA, InT, and SPP) ARSTAF, ACOMs, ASCCs, DRUs and external stakeholders. - Analyze and provide written recommendations in response to taskings; monitor, track and resolve relevant tasks and products. Provide staff support for administrative functions to ensure accurate and timely responses (incoming and outgoing) to SACO and JACO office tasking, routing, tracking and updates including the development of the Form 5 documentation within the ETMS2. Required Skills and Experience: - Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills. - Must have the ability to work within Government-provided software packages, to include MS Office products (Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel). - Must be able to think critically and apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear and precise recommendations.  - Must be able to clearly articulate analysis through both oral and written communication.   - Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities.  - Experience working in headquarters environments on the Army/Joint Staff and/or Major Army Commands. - Proficient in planning and execution of working groups. - Operational experience using standard automated toolsets to monitor database performance and maintain database operation.
