Operations Analyst
Job Title: Project Manager Operations AnalystJob Description Identify the needs and expectations of the customer for electric and/or gas utility requirements of project-specific development. Serve as the central point of contact for internal and external customers such as developers, contractors, engineering firms, local agencies, and utilities from the inception to the completion of the assigned projects. Focus on improving external customer satisfaction. Responsibilities + Identify the needs and expectations of the customer for electric and/or gas utility requirements of project-specific development. + Serve as the central point of contact for internal and external customers such as developers, contractors, engineering firms, local agencies, and utilities from the inception to the completion of the assigned projects. + Conduct basic to moderate operational tasks to assist operating districts in measuring and improving work performance to meet the division’s operational and financial objectives. + Develop and implement methods to measure work performance, foster cost savings, and improve efficiency. + Maintain compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations. + Perform design work for electric and/or gas new or expanded service or system improvements. + Maintain a working knowledge of all company standards, tariffs, and regulatory requirements to provide the most cost-effective designs. Create and deliver preliminary estimates. + Prepare and present financial agreements to customers, ensuring that the company delivers comprehensive and accurate contracts. + Conduct pre-construction meetings with Electric and Gas Inspectors, General and Area Service Managers as necessary. + Participate in the after-hour rotational on-call supervisor program and assist in restoration activities during storms or other emergencies. Essential Skills + Financial analysis + Data entry + Data analysis + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables) + Customer service + Operations analysis + Utility design + Construction engineering Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in customer service + Experience in construction is a plus + Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation + Willingness to ask for work rather than wait for instructions + Ability to work with a mentor-minded leader Work Environment The office is located at 7155 Lindell Rd, Las Vegas. The Operations Analyst division has its own office inside the NVE building, featuring offices, cubicles, and a small kitchen area. The team has a great culture and works well together. The position includes a hybrid home/office schedule. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
