Responsibilities:
The role is to provide Corporate Action and Income processing services; ensure event creation, processing and booking. Guarantee timely client notification, instructions handling, cash and securities bookings; play an active role in looking after accurate reconciliation and remediation of any CA related issues.Skills and Experience:
1-6 years relevant experience Understanding of securities markets and front to back life cycle of corporate action events Experience in Corporate Action event processing and reconciliation (mandatory and voluntary) Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, typically MT56x Corporate Action In-depth understanding of securities markets and corporate reorganizations (e.g., mergers). Where volumes are high, flag any potential service delivery issues as early as possible and assist other team members as directed by your Team Leader Develop knowledge of existing markets, their changes and financial instruments by making regular use of various information sources (Market Updates, Client Updates, market announcements, among others) Ensure all Corporate Actions & Income setups, instructions and payments are processed while meeting standards established by the Bank and the team’s procedures.The Cognizant community:
