This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
As part of a passionate and accomplished team, you will directly impact the future of space flight and help us make progress towards our mission of building the road to space through reusable rockets. As an Operations Analyst you will perform data analysis and data visualization, drive strategy, drive rate and cost reduction initiatives, and perform project management. We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytics skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop organizational performance metrics to drive operational efficiency, rate improvements and cost reduction
Build and maintain tools, analytics, and reporting to highlight performance metrics and other key information
Data mining across diverse data sets
Actively participate on technical teams to support system improvements and addition of new functionality
Prepare memos, charts and reports with results of financial and operational analyses to support key reviews with senior leadership
Find opportunities and lead projects that reduce recurring operational cycle time and cost
Support site leadership with various projects that may include facility upgrades, scheduling, maintenance planning or other high impact initiatives
Lead key business analytics initiatives, as required
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or technical field or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: Operations engineering, business intelligence, data engineering, or business analytics.
Experience working with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)
Experience with writing and modifying SQL
Exceptional with Excel and manual data analysis
Understanding of data structures and architecture
Exceptional with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Superb communication skills with an interest in taking complex data and presenting it with exceptional clarity.
Proven ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Industrial Engineering experience
Knowledge of statistical and optimization modeling.
Prior experience working in a launch, testing or manufacturing facility
Experience in the commercial space sector
Experience directly using Primavera P6 or other Project Management Software
Experience with Visual Basic, Javascript, or Python programming
Understanding of manufacturing processes, maintenance processes, and industrial equipment
Experience using and developing within Atlassian Confluence and JIRA instances.
MBA or advanced degree
