What You Will Be Doing
Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team in Greenville, SC, as a Senior Operations Analyst supporting our Industrial Engineering department. In this critical role, you will provide essential data analytics, automation, and reporting to drive continuous improvement and enhance our advanced analytic capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver crucial data and analytics support to facilitate informed decision-making and drive operational efficiencies
- Engage in high-impact projects related to defense policy, threat assessment, doctrine, and operational concepts
- Utilize advanced visualization tools, threat models, and command and control models to simulate and analyze operations
- Perform operations analysis and evaluate mission effectiveness using quantitative methods
- Apply scientific disciplines, including mathematics, statistical methods, engineering techniques, and operational mathematics, to provide a rational basis for decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that enhance overall mission effectiveness

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with data visualization, database querying, and programming
- Experience in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas and VBA
- 5+ years of data analytics work experience
Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in a technical discipline
- Proficiency with data prep tools such as Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or similar
- Experience with SAP HANA, MS SQL, MySQL or related database systems
- SQL proficiency including writing complex joins, subqueries, and data prep procedures
- Experience in developing analytical products and reporting from raw data through final visualization
- Ability to find and understand connections in data through independent exploration
- Experience with Python

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
