As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for the effective execution of all facilities maintenance, engineering, and operations work control processes. This includes the efficient and effective planning and scheduling of resources to conduct activities with minimal downtime and with maximum productivity. In order to fulfill these responsibilities in the most effective manner, the Planner/Scheduler is empowered to manage work priority, develop job plans, define parts and materials, define crafts and skills, and engage the proper resources to develop a safe, effective and efficient work control plan.

Working hours Monday thru Friday- 7am-330pm

 

 

Responsibilities:Provide scheduling support of work orders including, projects and corrective/preventive maintenance work.Facilitate work orders by defining the tasks, estimating duration, identifying constraints, and assigning appropriate resources.Prepare and update schedules.Provide support to Facility Managers by providing real-time updates and statuses of scheduled work.Review reports and identify overdue work orders, which pose a risk to quality assurance.Evaluate status of work and report problems to supervisor and/or management and provide recommendations for corrective actions, where applicable.Update customers on status of scheduled work.Contribute to facilities team awareness of infrastructure and system status by highlighting discrepancies and areas of increased risk.Support continuous improvement initiatives within Blue Facilities and in coordination with other company stakeholders.Source, order, and confirm receipt of materials to support work order completion.Support the continued use and improvement of the CMMS preventive maintenance tracking program (Maximo) for our properties.Coordinate maintenance workflow best practices with shop personnel and others, as needed.Assist with the definition and expansion of Blue Origin facilities and all its assets as necessary.Coordinate with project leads on mobilization and demobilization of equipment as needed.Coordinate with outside suppliers for the rental or purchase of equipment as needed.

 

Qualifications:Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification preferred, but not requiredMinimum of 4 years’ experience in facilities maintenance scheduling and planningDeveloped organizational skills an ability to communicate verbally and in writingExtensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge and experience with Maximo highly preferredSuperior organizational skills with ability to develop short and long-range goals.Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Applicants should have knowledge of industrial facility infrastructure.Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusionThis position requires technical and manufacturing skills, but also a creative and flexible attitude.
