About the role:
The Operations Assistant will be a member of the Operations Projects Team to provide support to other departments. This may include working on operational assignments, remedy oversights and participate in clean-up projects. These assignments require extreme attention to detail. Must have strong time management skills and the ability to work independently. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management and internal and external clientele, required.  Position reports to Supervisor, Operations or designee

Key Responsibilities

Communicates with business/stakeholders to provide relative feedback to key projects

Audits policies for accuracy via our online platform

Provides Underwriting support by creating express renewal accounts

Reviews reports for accuracy and uploads to our proprietary system

Drafts immediate and detailed communication to insureds regarding vulnerabilities

Updates and shares Accounting payable codes applicable to the business

Assists with projects to ensure broker and insured information is consistent and not duplicated across systems

Builds partner product reports for the Reinsurance Department 

Makes recommendations to IT to help identify specific deficiencies within our proprietary system

Must possess strong initiative, and actively take steps toward resolutions; be solution minded

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office required, with Excel mastery. Able to analyze, interpret, deconstruct and manipulate large quantities of data with accuracy

Attention to detail with ability to identify discrepancies a must

Active participation in employee development opportunities

Willingness to contribute to the success of the business unit by acting with core values in min

Minimum Knowledge, Qualifications and Education Requirements

2 years of relevant and progressive business experience 

Advanced Microsoft Office experience required with Excel mastery

For candidates working in person or remotely in the following locations, the reasonable pay range for this specific position is Encino, CA, $44,760 - $58,670 annually.   The salary offered for this specific position is based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company.
