Operations Automation Senior Associate

Coach and mentor team members, collaborate with stakeholders, design, and deliver training on workflow automation, and streamline and revolutionize the firm’s processes, reducing manual touchpoints, building controls and reducing - if not completely eliminating, the false transactions. 


As an Operations Automation Manager within the APAC Securities Services Operations, you will be required to conduct and manage advanced intelligent automation and business analysis to gather requirements from the different Operational Functions to translate process improvements and solutions for operations efficiencies and create capacity, along with potentially managing your team locally. You gather information, execute, and implement automation and the digitization strategy to deliver the outcomes of automation to support the Operations function.


Job responsibilities

Manage the various aspects of process automation engagements including requirements gathering, solution architecture, solution development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement, while adhering to the firm’s standards, controls, and intelligence automation solutions governance Effectively project manage stakeholders, including tech and Ops partners, and track progress across deliveries to ensure on-time completion Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including senior relationships and lead stakeholder discussions and forums with clear outcomes and actions Provide executive reporting and communication to senior management Drive solution design for scalable and reusable solutions Undertake development of solutions where required Discover and drive scalable Intelligent Automation opportunities across the Securities Services Operations business units, regionally and globally. Champion a digital and data-first culture, enhancing employee skillsets and engagement. Provide oversight to the local management, development and training of the junior staff within the team.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services or a related sector such as professional services or technology providers. Minimum of 5 years in delivering intelligent automation and conducting business analysis, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze complex data, draw accurate conclusions, and understand business risk implications. Extensive business and technical expertise with a focus on analyzing complex operating models, anticipating issues, and leveraging technology to mitigate risks. Advanced knowledge of one or more intelligent automation applications, such as UiPath, Alteryx, and Tableau, along with relevant programming languages. Experience in coaching and guiding less experienced team members in the use of automation tools. Proven ability to multitask and resolve issues effectively, with a track record of driving issues to resolution. A strong commitment to diversity and inclusivity, excellence in execution, and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent ability to employ appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to motivate and build relationships across virtual teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive-level interactions, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders. Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure and tight deadlines.
