Overview: Providing our clients with exceptional service is the foundation of our business. As the Operations (Billing) Manager, you will lead Veritext billing operations for the Midwest region, focusing on KPIs to manage productivity and quality while leading a team of direct reports.
What you'll do:
+ Lead a team of direct reports, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to foster professional growth and development.
+ Contribute to people-related initiatives, including recruiting, engaging, and retaining top talent.
+ Contribute to overall Billing team initiatives primarily through guiding and directing team members
+ Balance workload among a team through managing queues and delegating work to team members
+ Collaborate with Team Lead and Specialist to ensure that departmental training materials are current, effective, and utilized
+ Collaborate with Supervisor, Team Lead and Specialist to ensure teams are performing at the highest level, including proposing creative solutions for functional, people and project related issues
+ Analyze and discuss monthly revenue/COGS performance
+ Understand financial implications of vendor assignments as it relates to specific jobs and escalate to management when questions arise, low GP or another oddity
+ Maximize revenue and gross profit by analyzing invoices, trends, and product/services
+ Analyze client billing rates as necessary and make recommendations for changes where needed
+ Act as an escalation point for resolving complex client issues and inquiries, demonstrating effective problem-solving skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.
+ Lead and/or contribute to regional level and team projects as directed by Operations Director.
+ Work collaboratively with Veritext colleagues, exhibiting Veritext Values
+ Support organizational initiatives including DEI and Sustainability and serve as an ambassador of key business priorities and objectives; translate objectives to individual team
+ Embrace and foster a work environment that supports a safe environment that aligns to Company philosophy regarding workplace violence prevention and safety
+ Engage in learning and development initiatives that foster growth and development as a people leader
Who you are:
+ 5+ years of relevant experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Proficiency in MS Office required, intermediate to advanced Excel
+ Proficiency in relevant financial software packages and applications
+ Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
+ Dedicated leader with the ability to respond to requests promptly and accurately
+ Must be detail-oriented, organized and be able to multi-task
+ Proactive and motivated with strong problem solving and follow up skills
+ Must possess excellent management skills with the proven ability to coach, develop and lead a team
