Your Role: Coordinating the timely flow of trailers and paperwork needed in the process of receiving, storing, and shipping product. Responsible for controlling, inspecting, recording, and tracking inbound and outbound customers, truck, vendor, and visitor traffic, in addition to assisting Transportation and Warehouse department clerks with assigned tasks.
Coordinate dock flow for receiving shifts. Compare accuracy of supplier bills. Choose and stage loads to be received. Print and distribute receiving paperwork as needed. Finalize shipping and receiving paperwork. Tracking/ verifying product on trailers. Follows and applies standard work and work instructions. Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position. Verify and record all inbound and outbound traffic.
Role Specifics:
Schedule - 2 Full Time Openings:Wednesday 11 am – 5:15 pm, Thursday – Saturday 5 am – 5:15pm
Sunday – Tuesday 5:00 am – 5:15 pm, Wednesday 5am – 11 am
Work as a team to provide services to internal and external customer.
We Need You to Have:
High School Diploma or GED Effective verbal & written communication skills Basic computer skills in Microsoft Work & Excel Ability to prioritize and process simultaneous demands on a routine basis. Ability to work independently and as a team.We’d Like You to Have:
College Degree (Associates or Bachelors) Prior transportation knowledge Experience communicating positively & effectively with internal & external customers.
