PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Worley is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Commissioning Lead to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless and successful commissioning of industrial facilities in the energy and resource sectors. You will leverage your deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and collaborative mindset to oversee commissioning processes, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to Worley’s ambition of driving sustainable transformation while supporting customers in delivering essential energy, chemical, and resource solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Commissioning Leadership\:  Lead and manage the commissioning process, ensuring all activities align with Worley’s commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability. Project Planning\:  Develop detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with project management teams to facilitate smooth integration with overall project timelines. Technical Expertise\:  Provide expert guidance on commissioning methodologies, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Safety Compliance\:  Uphold and enforce Worley’s safety standards, fostering a culture of safety-first practices throughout all commissioning activities. Stakeholder Collaboration\:  Work closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from construction to operational readiness. Quality Assurance\:  Implement rigorous quality control measures, ensuring commissioning activities align with project specifications and client expectations. Resource Management\:  Oversee commissioning personnel and subcontractors, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet project milestones and objectives. Documentation\:  Maintain accurate and comprehensive commissioning records, including test procedures, equipment data, and reports. Performance Monitoring\:  Continuously assess commissioning progress, identifying and addressing any deviations or challenges to maintain alignment with project goals. Client Interaction\:  Establish and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and delivering successful commissioning outcomes that align with Worley’s commitment to excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSET

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; an advanced degree is advantageous. Extensive experience in commissioning roles within the energy, chemical, or resource industries. Strong understanding of commissioning processes, industry regulations, and best practices. Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive complex projects to successful completion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Safety-conscious mindset with a track record of maintaining and promoting safe working environments. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
