Local Division Controller - US

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead financial processes and transactions to optimize financial performance within the factory/site. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions.The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-OnsiteYou will be mainly accountable for:•\tContributing to the definition of the finance strategy for your respective factory/manufacturing sites.•\tServing as the key partner to factory managers in determining strategy for your own area of responsibility and developing a global business model, aligning with wider strategy, implementing them, and adjusting as needed.•\tTranslating the finance strategy into business plans and establishing measurable targets and overseeing the business planning and forecasting process for your area of responsibility.This position reports to the Division CFO NEMA Motors

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required; Big 4 accounting firm, CPA, CMA and/or MBA a plus\tMinimum 10 years’ experience as a controller; with minimum 5 years’ experience in a plant controlling environment\tChallenge status-quo with ability to create new and improved processes for finance deliverables \tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, expertise in accounting systems and a focus on cost accounting, operational finance and gross margin \tAble to prepare production and gross margin forecast on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and an annual budget and be able to identify, analyze and communicate variances \tProficient in MS Office programs with strong emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint - SAP Experience preferred.\tCandidate must have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
