About Achievement Prep
Achievement Prep is college-preparatory public charter school network located in Southeast Washington, DC. We a re an elementary school serving scholars in kindergarten through sixtth grade . We also partner with AppleTree Institute to serve pre-K 3 and pre-K 4 scholars . Our mission is to prepare students to excel as high-achieving scholars and leaders in high school, college and beyond.
Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the Operations Coordinator is to support and assist in the overall operational efficiency of Achievement Prep. The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Operations Manager as well as other members of the Achievement Prep team to maintain systems for all non-instructional activity.
Reports to: Operations Manager
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Operational Support
+ Manage the inventory and distribution of administrative and classroom supplies and materials
+ Assist with classroom and campus technology, troubleshoot issues with staff, manage inventory
+ Oversee daily tasks and facility up-keep through assigned day porter
+ Support cafeteria operations, as needed
+ Assist with any facility set-up or organizational design needed to accommodate day-to-day activities or outside visitors
+ Support campus copy center, as needed
Maintenance of School and Organizational Culture
+ Fully integrate into the school community and assume additional school-wide responsibilities to ensure a strong culture
+ Collaborate with staff to advance the school’s mission and communicate that mission to its constituents
+ Adhere to and enforce school-wide protocols and policies
+ Actively pursue professional development opportunities, inside and outside of the school
+ Assume extracurricular responsibilities, if desired
Other duties as required to fulfill the mission of Achievement Prep in the lives of our scholars

Education & Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Experience with PowerSchool 7.x preferred (e.g. registration, enrollment, GradeBook)
+ Experience in a school setting preferred
