**Team/Role Overview**
The Operations Optimization and Enablement team (“OOE”) sits within the Operations Division which is part of the Chief Operating Office. We are solutions oriented and leverage deep domain expertise to define and deliver strategy across a range of core operations functions. This role is aligned to the Regulatory Operations function - detailed knowledge and expertise of Non-Financial Reg Reporting (“NFRR”) processes, systems and solutions is required. The role holder will use data analysis and analytics skills to identify NFRR trends and optimization opportunities, measure performance, regulatory adherence, program delivery success and to offer recommendations on process and risk redesign through predictive analytics.
**What you’ll do**
**The Data Analyst is responsible for analysis related to multiple strategic work efforts across Data & Regulatory Operations. The role holder will:**
+ Provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions.
+ Contribute to data analytics standards around which others will operate. Applies in-depth understanding of how data analytics collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function
+ Resolve occasionally complex and highly variable issues. Produce detailed analysis of issues where the best course of action is not evident from the information available, but actions must be recommended/ taken
+ Employ well-developed communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas
+ Responsible for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of data science projects along with some short-term and long-term planning.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
+ Integrate subject matter and industry expertise within NFRR
+ Manage multiple work streams across geographies for Data & Regulatory Operations
+ Day-to-day management of individual project responsibilities including milestone setting, task and actions management, coordination and execution of plan within required timelines and to stakeholder quality expectations
+ Apply knowledge of NFRR and Data concepts and procedures to identify process efficiency opportunities
+ Identifies data patterns & trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc.
+ Recommends actions for future developments & strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies
+ Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities
**What we’ll need from you**
+ Extensive experience in data analysis roles, specifically within the NFRR domains
+ Experience using codes for statistical modeling of large data sets
+ Excellent analytical and practical problem solving abilities
+ Experience in segmentation, modeling, and optimization
+ Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders across business, operations, technology and compliance, including those at senior levels
+ Ability to rationalize and work through organizational change. Proven track record in terms of evaluating process performance across key metrics and envisioning ways to reengineer the process to create significant improvement across all key variables
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
+ Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of data analysis
+ Proven ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact by weighing various action plans and balancing potentially conflicting need
+ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis
+ 6-10 years experience
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

$142,320.00 - $213,480.00
