**POSITION DETAILS**
The Office of Executive Search and Evaluation (OESE), which is part of the Chancellor’s office, facilitates and provides executive support to presidential and vice chancellor search committees, providing guidance on search processes and policies, managing new presidents/deans, Transition/Onboarding/Executive Coaching, and managing presidential orientations, and evaluations.
OESE is seeking a proactive and highly organized Operations Effectiveness Specialist, to optimize operational processes and enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the department. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Executive Search, Transition and Evaluation, this role involves analyzing current operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective IT processes and solutions, maximizing efficiency and quality to ensure seamless office operations.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Conducts thorough evaluations of department needs and helps develop new and efficient methods and approaches to streamline strategies.
• Designs, upgrades and maintains comprehensive databases for nation-wide presidential and cabinet-level searches, evaluations, transition and onboarding projects.
• Ensures data integrity and security while providing education on network security and best practices to colleagues.
• Assists with organization and security of all digital documents within the office.
• Formats and prepares documents for publications and website postings using various software tools.
• Serves as technical resource and troubleshooter to Executive Office staff, helping to resolve IT issues and ensures efficient operations; monitors performance of hardware and software systems to ensure reliability and functionality; trains office staff in using various software tools.
• Performs administrative tasks with professionalism, courtesy, and timeliness and serves as liaison to colleges and Central Office staff.
• Serves as a versatile generalist resource in office, executing a diverse array of tasks to support overall team effectiveness.
• Assists the Executive Director of Executive Search and Evaluation and staff, providing support with various duties as appropriate and as assigned.
Note: Until further notice, this position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Minimum:
Bachelor's Degree and four years' related experience required.
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient in computer skills and software applications including DBMS like Microsoft Access and MySQL
• Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating sound judgement and initiative.
• Attention to detail ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional and personable with a commitment to discretion and confidentiality.
• Proactive, reliable, and a collaborative team member.
**CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW**
Assists with planning, conducting, and implementing improvements to operational practices and systems aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness.
-Provides functional project support to areas in transition, collects and analyzes data, and prepares project materials
-Coordinates efforts between departments and between the college/unit and external participants
-Participates in planning implementation tasks, including training
-Performs needs and outcomes assessments as needed
-May provide training and follow-up support
-Performs related duties as assigned.

**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**
Salary range is **$79,188 - $86,645** , commensurate with education, credentials, and experience.
