Estimated annual base pay:  $74,000.00(minimum) - $92,500.00(midpoint) - $111,000.00(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark?  If you’re an Operation Engineer or looking to become one, we have an exciting opportunity for you!  This person would be responsible for helping deploy new products into production and making sure they are manufacturable and cost effective. This engineer will be asked to utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to support the launch of products quickly and effectively while also improving our existing portfolio products. This person will also have the opportunity to participate in cross functional projects. Come join this team and have the exposure to exciting new technology in aerospace!

Provides technical solutions

Learns from experts in the area

Supports new capital equipment purchases and implementation

Creates cell layouts and process improvement initiatives

Uses Six Sigma and lean tools to improve processes

Supports new product introduction

Represents company with customers

Participates in process improvements on project level

Develops/trains other members in manufacturing process

Implements engineering changes and adheres to Quality System requirements

What we are looking for...

Bachelor's degree in technical/science or international equivalent required

Greater than 2 years professional engineering experience or a combination of experience and advanced degree required

Basic Six Sigma knowledge; Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts

Uses basic concepts of Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) and supports new product introduction

Basic understanding of electrical and/or mechanical machine drawings, including industry specifications

Manufacturing Engineering - Basic understanding of applicable manufacturing processes including Computer Numeric Controls (CNC) programming; Basic knowledge of capabilities studies, Gage R&R, and machine capability; Basic understanding of machinery related to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, etc.; Basic understanding of product drawings, including GD&T and specification flow down
