Job Summary
The Operations & Event Assistant will help facilitate and oversee events hosted by external entities that take place on Drexel University Athletic Facilities. This person will work under the supervision of the Associate Athletics Director.
Essential Functions
Serve as event manager for designated athletics events at Daskalakis Athletic Center, Drexel Recreation Center & Vidas Athletic Complex. Assists with supervision of student staff for specific events. Complete tasks related to the successful production of athletic and non-athletic events held in or on athletic facilities, including field preparations, event set-up and break-down, event management, etc. Assist with on-field/court activities as needed. Provide exceptional customer service on event day. Check-in and work with Public Safety, police, and student staff as needed.Required Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree. Experience working in facility and event management, intercollegiate sports or participation in intercollegiate sports. Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.Preferred Qualifications
Ability to adapt to fast paced environment. Degree in Sports Management.Physical Demands

This is a Part-Time per diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
