Operations Intern, Employee Benefits

POSITION SUMMARY:

HUB International is seeking to add an Operations Intern in the Cincinnati office! This internship will provide experience supporting a number of teams within the Employee Benefits department and contributing to the day-to-day activities of the organization. This is primarily a support role that will report to the Director of Admin Operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performing clerical duties:

Print, collate and assemble client materials

Create open enrollment and new hire materials/packets at request of client specialists and account managers

Maintain inventory in copy center

Research projects

Creating presentations

Client relations:

Assist with client gifting program to include tracking events, items given and inventory. Prepare and deliver as directed.

May occasionally involve deliveries to clients

Carrier education

Dial in to education sessions, record attendance, collect follow up information

Collect materials from vendors (e.g., presentations, flyers, brochures, etc.) and upload to SharePoint

Assist with in-house carrier education meeting prep to include room set-up, printing and assembling meeting materials, technology needs, picking up food on occasion, break down afterwards.

Greeting carrier guests and directing them to meeting room.

Facilities duties:

Backup for front desk as needed, lobby area responsibilities.

Maintain kitchen and pantry items such as coffee machines & dishwashers

Mail and package processing

Office supply inventory

Event support (room set ups, catering, printed materials, etc.)

Other projects and tasks as necessary
