HealthFitness has new opportunities for Operations Leads to join our team working remotely. Some travel is required for this position. **Eligibility:** This opportunity is exclusively available to our dedicated current employees at HealthFitness or Corporate Fitness Works.
Responsible for supporting all operational aspects within their assigned regions. Will be assigned two regions within HealthFitness Program Management and will support onsite fitness centers; a region size may vary from 18 - 56 sites and they will support two Directors / Regions. Ensures compliance with company standards, regulations, and quality control efforts. Serves as the subject matter expert pertaining to operational systems, procedures, and best practices within the company as well as the industry. Key accountabilities of this role include Site Procedures, Company Standards and Training on company systems.
**Key Accountabilities:**
**Operational Excellence & Onboarding**
+ Provide support for facility start-up operations at new client sites including site opening checklists, compliance with regulations and attending internal meetings to ensure on-time go-live.
+ Support the training and onboarding of onsite teams for client accounts, including partnering with Team HealthFitness and supporting new employees with Workday and Okta navigation.
+ Assist the Director with client onboarding by jointly attending meetings, ensuring region support is in place for new client and providing operational expertise through the onboarding process.
+ Ensure sites within assigned region understand and utilize HealthFitness resources for Member Enrollment, Marketing and Communications that are participant facing.
+ Coordinate the Enterprise Vendor Management (EVM) process for any new technology or vendor needs within regions that the Operations Manager supports, attend meetings and serve as liaison representing the business line, manage all system notifications and entries to successfully obtain necessary vendors.
**Compliance**
+ Build awareness within assigned regions regarding Enterprise Compliance Training due dates, monitor and track completion progress and delinquencies, bringing in the Director when necessary and partnering with Human Resources.
+ Responsible for educating region managers on required audits (i.e., Data Privacy Audit) on a quarterly basis and conducting them when feasible or necessary. Keeping Director informed of the region’s compliance with audits and implementing improvements or education where identified, as necessary.
+ Collect, review, and track incident reports (Illness / Injury), and implement necessary training with support from Human Resources, as necessary. Develop and implement standards and practices to minimize risk to employees, in collaboration with Human Resources.
+ Responsible for tracking region-wide compliance with certifications remaining current and on file, including coordinating with region managers for reports and maintaining an awareness of any outstanding or lapsed certifications, as well as implementing measures to correct, in partnership with Human Resources when necessary.
+ Track the operational licenses of the region (music, massage) and ensure all compliance items are within standards.
+ Subject-Matter-Expert in client billing, member management systems, Enterprise Vendor Management (EVM) and pricing tools.
**Training**
+ Collaborate with the account management team to determine and implement operational best practices related to member enrollment systems, training, company standard practices (Movement Training System, etc.) .
+ Track and monitor the completion of Movement Training System (MTS) certifications within the assigned regions, drive completion and support site managers in successfully certifying their staff. Inform Director of progress and identified gaps.
+ Provide training on the Member Enrollment Systems (Club Automation, MindBody, ABC, Wellness Living, etc.) to site level staff.
+ Provide Safety and Product Trainings to site level staff as needed.
**Team Leadership and Development**
+ Communicate to Director the operational and compliance standing of the region, solution for gaps in knowledge and lead trainings, as necessary.
+ Assist in defining professional development tools and opportunities.
+ Provide performance feedback to staff outside of the formal review process.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Operations, or a related field OR equivalent work experience, certifications, and education.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate fitness/wellness at the site level.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation skills.
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
+ Familiarity with relevant software systems (e.g., Workday, Okta, MMS, Club Auto, ABC, MindBody, Wellness Living).
+ Traveling (overnight) approximately 40% of the time to various fitness center sites. Must be able to manage frequent travel, including air and road travel, sometimes on short notice.
+ Extensive computer experience including data entry, report generation, and email communication.
+ Must be able to sit at a computer for prolonged periods (up to 4 hours consecutively) with periodic breaks.
**Certifications and Training:**
+ CPR, First Aid and AED certified.
**Preferred:**
+ Prior experience in the specific industry or sector (e.g., fitness, healthcare, corporate services).
+ Demonstrated success in using HealthFitness resources and systems (Workday, MTS, etc.), history of complying with training deadlines.
+ Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
+ Movement Training System (MTS) certified, Safety or OSHA certification
+ Certified Pool Operation (CPO) certification – past or present (for Specialty Region only).
Compensation: $70,000/Year - $90,000/Year + potential bonus. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
