Operations Lead
As the Operations Lead, you will be focused on the day-to-day responsibilities within the operations including training and development, inventory management, and technology improvements within Operations. You are also expected to set a positive example for all employees, provide leadership, and strive to meet production goals and objectives.

Direct Hire position$21.00 /annuallyFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredVarious shifts available (Monday through Friday)Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, by hand, forklift, or other equipment.Fill in for multiple roles to cover breaks and absences Communicate with and engage the team members on key operational strategies. Perform physical duties that are associated with the operation of equipmentPerform daily preventive maintenance on equipment as required. Accountable for ensuring compliance to all safety programs, requirements and practices. Effectively address performance concerns, discipline, and recognitionWork with Plant Manager on employee issuesMake decisions, solve problems, and handle high stress situations calmly and safelyAssist Plant Manager in production and personnel schedulingOperations Lead Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED1 year of leadership experience preferredForklift and skid steer experience requiredComputer experience preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsProblem solvingWilling to work overtime and weekends when necessarySit, stand, walk, and stoop for long periods of timeAble to climb in/on mobile equipmentAbility to lift up to 50lbs. on a regular basis Exposure to physical operations in scrap recycling facilities, including walking/climbing in active industrial yards with uneven surfaces in inclement weatherApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
