Skills and Qualifications

Must already have earned, at minimum, an associate degree.

Must have a minimum of 5 – 7 years of manufacturing experience on the shop floor, preferably in MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul).

Outstanding customer focus as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Understanding of MS office applications.

Successful candidate must possess proven leadership, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.

Possess the ability create an atmosphere of teamwork.

Must be flexible and willing to support assignments on non-prime shifts.

Must be self-motivated and have high-energy with the initiative to direct, lead and influence.

Possess strong communication skills showing empathy and respect and proven ability to communicate with all levels of management.

Proven engaging leadership using motivation and empowerment to instill cooperation and respect from team members.

Responsibilities

1) Liaison with Operations and Customer Service on SEDs (Schedule End Dates), including updating, tracking, and ensuring these are realized on time.

2) Assist with the planning of overall activities, supervision, and coordinate work (interface) with other departments to meet delivery commitments.

3) Opening new customer accounts, maintaining customer records by updating account information, MK denial Customer ITC compliance.

4) Sales hold management – review and provide recommendations to CSR or CS Manager.

5) Create status reports to be sent to Customers.

6) Assist employees to ensure they are properly trained for their assignments and training records are updated.

7) Assist with EH&S/CORE/Quality activities, tool-box meetings, updating of pitch-boards, etc.

8) Assist team members in solving challenges as well as leveraging opportunities for improvement.

9) Exercise initiative and judgment and collaborate with supervision to make decisions in planning and scheduling of personnel, as well as administrative duties in support of the Operations Manager.

10) Plan and carry out employee engagement action items (as applicable).

11) Must be willing to work extended hours.

12) Perform other duties as required.

What is my role type?

In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
