The Job You Will Perform:

Promote and support a safe and engaging culture. Provide leadership to troubleshoot maintenance and operational issues. Lead, facilitate and document daily MWS meetings. Facilitator of the MWS Process for the business unit Holds the team members accountable to effective and efficient MWS performance. Champion and facilitate MWS meetings for: daily/ weekly planning; routine and PMO outages: and annual outages. Screen work notifications. Own and manage the work order backlog, including scheduling and leading quarterly backlog reviews. Track and assist department in managing maintenance budget. Develop Daily and Outage Planning Schedules. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a supportive work environment. Lead by example and ensure acceptable work practices are being followed. Support the ZES (lockout & tagout) process in the department. Support Reliability investigations for failures in the department. Support and assist in company initiatives such as 5S or other Global Manufacturing System activities. Flow to work supporting other assignments during routine outages, PMOs and annual shutdowns.

 

 

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

Candidates with 5-10+ years’ experience in Power and Recovery or  2+ years in a Leadership role will be considered. 5 years of related experience in a Pulp or Paper mill environment. Strong commitment to safety in all aspects of business operations. Excellent interpersonal leadership skills and ability to motivate others. Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and skills. Thorough and detailed knowledge of Power and Recovery area processes is preferred. Good written and verbal communications skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project) and SAP. Action Oriented, Drive for Results, Organizing, Priority Setting, Problem Solving, Technical Learning, Timely Decision Making
